Select from a colorful assortment of semi-precious stones and silver or gold plated spacers to design and make a unique bracelet. Learn how to string beads and attach a clasp using crimping tools. | WIRE WRAPPING (INTRODUCTORY CLASS) |
Our Wire Wrapping Class is an introduction to working with metal wire in beaded jewelry. You will learn about the different types of wire, practice simple wire wrapping techniques and gain familiarity with tools that are essential for making many earring, necklace and bracelet designs. In the class you will manipulate silver wire to create 2 pair of earrings using semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals.

| KNOTTING WITH SILK |
This is not your grandmother's knotting; today people are knotting with silk, waxed cotton, hemp - just about any material - as a design element in making earrings and necklaces. In our Knotting with Silk Class you will learn how to use silk cord to create a stylish necklace using large freshwater pearls and Swarovski bicones in your choice of colors. Finish your piece with a sterling silver clasp.
Basic stringing knowledge required.

| PEYOTE SNAKE BRACELET |
Learn even count flat peyote stitch to make this bracelet. Select your favorite colors in size 8 Japanese seedbeads. Finish it off with a tubular clasp. Dress it up or dress it down depending on the palate you select. PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY TO SELECT YOUR BEADS.

| TIC-TAC SQUARE STITCH NECKLACE |
Use the square stitch to create a single strand necklace, or make multiple strands and twist them together for a different look. Finish it with a tulip shaped magnetic clasp. Select a palate of colors in size 8 seedbeads – Czech or Japanese. PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY TO SELECT YOUR BEADS.

| GOLDEN SANDS BRACELET |
Add a little bling to your life, and make this bracelet using 6mm Swarovski bicones. Select AB2X colors for added emphasis, or keep it simple with more subdued shades. You learn the right angle weave stitch (RAW) that you can use in a variety of other patterns. PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY TO SELECT YOUR BEADS.

| KUMIHIMO |
Kumihimo in Japanese literally means coming together of threads. This ancient braiding technique was used by the Samurai warriors to decorate their armor, and later developed into a decorative way to fasten kimonos. Today Kumihimo is used to make jewelry using seven strands of beads that are braided together. Select a palate of your favorite seedbead colors to make a necklace or bracelet, and finish it off with a plated clasp. PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINUTES EARLY TO SELECT YOUR BEADS AND PUT THEM INTO BOBBINS.

| LACE COLLAR |
This delicate lace collar will dress up any outfit, and you're sure to get lots of compliments every time you wear it. Made with size 11 seedbeads in contrasting colors, and using the netting stitch, this piece is easy enough for a beginner! No experience necessary – but don't expect to finish it during the class. You will learn the netting stitch, and how to finish it off, and make about half the collar during the class. PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY TO SELECT YOUR BEADS.

| LOOP D' LOOP BRACELET |
You will use the square stitch with embellishments to make this bracelet. This is a great project to use all those leftover seedbeads – select a palate of coordinated colors in various shapes – 4mm bugles, size 8/o and 11/o rocailles, plus some cubes, triangles or drops. You'll start with a square stitch base using 4mm cubes, and then add your embellishments. Select a 12-14mm beads or button for your clasp. PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY TO SELECT YOUR BEADS.

| FREE FORM WIRE PENDANT |
This is the perfect class to teach you how to turn a favorite stone into a beautiful pendant. In this class, you'll learn about artistic wire, and will manipulate 20 gauge non-tarnishing artistic wire to create a free form pendant around a single large bead. Feel free to bring your own bead or select from one of ours; beads without holes are fine. (Chain not included.)

| METALSMITHING - DANGLE EARRINGS |
In this class, you will learn how to cut,drill and texture a sterling sheet to create one-of-a-kind dangles that will look beautiful with a necklace or earrings. In addition, you will form sterling wire to create French wire earring findings. The end result - a fabulous pair of earrings using these components plus beads or pearls - you choose! Make a sterling band ring for yourself or your sweetheart. In this metalsmithing class, you will learn how to cut, file, stamp and solder a very thick gauge of serling wire to create a band ring. Select from an assortment of stamps to make your own design. No prerequisites.

| METALSMITHING-LIGHT AND AIRY EARRINGS |
Learn to saw, hammer and texture sterling sheet to create one-of-a-kind earrings. The focus is on creating delicate larger sizes of light and airy earrings - you select the shape and you select the size. Techniques learned in this class are perfect for beginner jewelry with a bold style. Come for three hours and leave with a special pair of earrings; extend for two additional hours to become more proficicient and make additional pieces.

| METALSMITHING - FALL FOLIAGE IN STERLING |
Nature is the inspiration for designs that will be implemented in this class. Using thin sterling sheet metal and wire, you will learn simple ways to transform metal through hammer textures, pattern making, forming and construction to create a botanical focal piece with a life of its own.
