| INTRODUCTION TO BEADING | Learn the skills you need in order to design and make your own necklace or bracelet. This class will introduce you to the different types of materials and tools used in jewelry making, how to use a bead board to design and size your piece, and the various ways to attach a clasp. This is a hands-on class where you will make a bracelet using semi-precious stones, plated spacer beads, and a plated lobster claw clasp.
The perfect class to get started making your own jewelry. Absolutely no experience necessary.

|  | | WIRE WORKING | Our Wire Working Class is an introduction to working with metal wire in beaded jewelry. You will learn about the different types of wire, practice simple wire work wrap techniques and gain familiarity with tools that are essential for making many earring, necklace and bracelet designs. Manipulate silver wire to create 2 pair of earrings using semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals.
Perfect if you want to design/make earrings.

|  | | STERLING TUBE BRACELET | Our favorite bracelet – made with sterling silver and Swarovski crystals. Select the crystals in your favorite color; make one for every occasion. Because the design integrates chain with the tubes, it's easier to size than many bracelets, so makes a perfect gift, even if you're not sure of the wrist size. ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO CLASS TO SELECT YOUR CRYSTAL PALATE. Knowledge of wire working is required.

|  | | KNOTTING WITH SILK | Traditional European knotting technique artfully protects delicate beads like pearls and semi-precious stones from rubbing against each other. In our Knotting with Silk Class you will learn how to use silk cord to enhance your jewelry designs. Select from an assortment of freshwater pearls and fine silk cord to create a hand-knotted bracelet or necklace. Finish off your traditional creation with a sterling silver clasp.
Basic stringing knowledge required.
