| STRINGING (INTRODUCTION TO BEADING) |
Start designing and beading! The Basic Stringing Class includes an introduction to and hands-on experience with different types of beads, findings, stringing materials and tools. Select from a colorful assortment of semi-precious stones and silver or gold plated spacers to design and make a unique bracelet. Learn how to string beads and attach a clasp using crimping tools. You’ll be on your way to creating your own fabulous jewelry.

| WIRE WRAPPING (INTRODUCTORY CLASS) |
Our Wire Wrapping Class is an introduction to working with metal wire in beaded jewelry. You will learn about the different types of wire, practice simple wire wrapping techniques and gain familiarity with tools that are essential for making many earring, necklace and bracelet designs. In the class you will manipulate silver wire to create 2 pair of earrings using semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals.

| KNOTTING WITH SILK |
This is not your grandmother's knotting; today people are knotting with silk, waxed cotton, hemp - just about any material - as a design element in making earrings and necklaces. In our Knotting with Silk Class you will learn how to use silk cord to create a stylish necklace using large freshwater pearls and Swarovski bicones in your choice of colors. Finish your piece with a sterling silver clasp.
Basic stringing knowledge required.

| STERLING TUBE BRACELET |
Our favorite bracelet – made with sterling silver and Swarovski crystals. Select the crystals in your favorite color; make one for every occasion. Because the design integrates chain with the tubes, it's easier to size than many bracelets, so makes a perfect gift, even if you're not sure of the wrist size. ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO CLASS TO SELECT YOUR CRYSTAL PALATE. Knowledge of wire working is required.

| SOFT CRYSTAL BANGLE |
This is a very simple, easy to make bangle. You will learn the netting stitch, and use Miyuki seed beads with Swarovski crystals to create this soft, slip-on bangle. Looks just as good with jeans as it does with a formal outfit. No prior experience necessary. NOTE: The February 4 Thursday evening class is a 2-part class - Feb. 4 and Feb 11 at 5:15PM.

| FREE FORM WIRE PENDANT |
This is the perfect class to teach you how to turn a favorite stone into a beautiful pendant. In this class, you'll learn about artistic wire, and will manipulate 20 gauge non-tarnishing artistic wire to create a free form pendant around a single large bead. Feel free to bring your own bead or select from one of ours; beads without holes are fine. (Chain not included.)

| INTRODUCTION TO POLYMER CLAY |
When we offered this class in the fall it was over-subscribed, so we're bringing it back. In this introductory class, you'll learn how to create fabulous polymer clay beads using a marbling technique. Polymer clay is making a comeback because it gives you endless possibilities in color combination, size and shape, and because the beads are so light they're perfect for every use, including earrings. Plus, you can make them in your own kitchen! In the class, you will make 6-10 round beads; feel free to bring your favorite colors of clay, or use ours. No experience necessary.

| INTERMEDIATE POLYMER CLAY |
Once you've mastered the basics of making polymer clay beads, you will learn to make "cane" beads in two fun geometric designs. You'll create 6-10 beads using two timeless colors - black and white. This is an intermediate class open only to those who have taken our Introduction to Polymer Clay class.

| MAKE YOUR OWN SPIRAL ROPE CHAIN |
Create a fabuous gold or silver rope 'chain' using the spiral stich. Wear it as a necklace or add a pendant; either way it looks stunning and is so versatile. You will learn the spiral stitch, and select from gold or silver lined Miyuki sseedbeads. Add 3" of gold filled or sterling chain so you can vary the length. You will not complete the chain in class but will learn how to finish it at home. No experience necessary.

| SELLING JEWELRY ON THE INTERNET |
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words - nothing is more true if you're selling your handmade jewelry on the Internet. In this class, designer Rebecca Compton will introduce you to some of the websites used to sell jewelry and will explain how to take the best photos for your site. Bring your own digital camera and some of the jewelry you've made. In the class, you will make a lightbox and take photos of your jewelry.
